Subject-verb agreement

Your verb has to match its subject. Our mainframes flag this as #GR5 when the mismatch slows the reader down — and in IELTS Writing Task 2 it counts against Grammatical Range & Accuracy every single time.

In the examples: subject + verb in blue = singular · subject + verb in orange = plural (base form). The verb is always bold. Uncoloured words in the middle are the noise — ignore them.
